Stainless steel Charmed Hearts Bracelet and Necklace.
There is a fence along the Seattle waterfront covered in locks. Hundreds of them, padlocks in every shape, size, and state of rust, each one clipped to the chain link and left there. Some are engraved with names. Some have dates scratched into them. Some are simple and plain. Some are ornate, cast in bronze with floral patterns engraved into the metal.
The idea behind a love lock is simple: you put your name on something permanent, attach it to a place, and leave it there. The lock stays. The connection it represents stays with it.
We’ve been making metal jewelry in Seattle since 2010; iron, bronze, stainless, each metal chosen for what it means as much as what it looks like. And when we started developing the Charmed Hearts collection, that waterfront fence was in the back of my mind the whole time. The idea of a lock and key as wearable jewelry. Something you keep instead of leaving behind.

The Heart Lock Necklace & Key Bracelet
The first piece in the Charmed Hearts collection is a set: a heart lock necklace and a matching key bracelet, both in solid stainless steel on a chunky curb chain.
The heart charm is double-sided and hand faceted. On one side: a keyhole, or a key, depending on which piece you’re wearing. On the other side: your chosen initial, laser engraved in script. The charm is two sided, wear either side forward. On any given day you might want to show the symbol, or just the letter. Both are there.
The curb chain is deliberately substantial. Not delicate. Not dainty. It reads as jewelry, but it wears like something built to last, which stainless steel absolutely is. Tarnish-resistant, low maintenance, made to be worn every day without thinking about it.

Your initial. Your choice.
We kept the customization simple on purpose. You choose one initial: yours, theirs, a shared letter, whatever makes sense for the person wearing it. We engrave it on the back of the heart in script. That’s it.
Simple doesn’t mean generic. A single initial engraved in metal means something specific. It belongs to one person. And because the charm is double-sided, the engraving is always there, on the back, close to the skin, even when you’re wearing the symbol side forward.
The charm is two sided. On one side, the symbol. On the other, the initial. Wear whichever side you want on any given day.

Two initials, two charms. Each one engraved for the person wearing it.
Wear together, or split the set
The set is designed to be worn two ways.
One person wears both, necklace and bracelet together, lock and key, a complete set. Or you split it: one person takes the necklace, one takes the bracelet. Couples, best friends, mother and daughter, two people who want a piece of the same thing. The chain is chunky enough that the bracelet reads well on any wrist.
When you split the set, each piece gets its own initial. So you’re not wearing a matching set, you’re each wearing your own piece, connected by the lock and key, engraved for you specifically.

Why stainless steel
We work in iron, bronze, and stainless steel. Each metal has its own character and its own meaning in the anniversary tradition, iron for the 6th, bronze for the 8th, stainless steel for the 11th and beyond.
For the lock and key set, we chose stainless because it’s the everyday metal. It doesn’t tarnish, doesn’t require care, holds its finish through daily wear. You don’t have to think about it. You just wear it.
The Charmed Hearts collection will expand into bronze and iron, the anniversary metals, as more styles are released. But the first set is stainless: clean, cool, built for the long run.
The collection is just getting started
The lock and key set is the first piece in the Charmed Hearts collection. More styles are coming! Different chains, gemstone beads, additional charms, and a fully custom build-your-own option where you choose both sides of the heart, the chain style, and the add-ons.
The heart charm stays at the center of everything. It’s made here in our Seattle studio, hand faceted, laser engraved to order. The rest, the chain, the stones, the other charms, is where the collection builds out.
